Golf Club
Gentle movement, sharp focus, and shared time outdoors — a lifelong-friendly sport that supports brain and body.

Overview
Mission & goals
The NeuroMotion Golf Club introduces participants to the motor, cognitive, and social benefits of golf in a welcoming, non-competitive setting. Activities draw on research in motor learning, healthy aging, and attention to support coordination, balance, patience, and lifelong wellness — for youth, families, and older adults alike.
Who it is for
- Neurodiverse youth and teens learning movement skills
- Older adults supporting healthy aging
- Families looking for an intergenerational activity
- Anyone new to golf — beginners are encouraged
What participants do
Inside the experience
- Warm up with balance, posture, and gentle mobility work
- Practice putting and short-game skills at their own pace
- Aim at targets using adapted clubs and equipment
- Try focus and breathing drills between rotations
- Play mixed-age team challenges
- Walk, stretch, and talk together outdoors
Why it matters
The bigger picture
Golf pairs precise motor control with sustained attention, and it can be adapted for almost any age or ability — which makes it unusually well suited to lifelong participation. Research on motor learning suggests skills stick better when practice varies slightly each round, and research on healthy aging points to the value of combining movement with real social time. Our sessions are built around both ideas.
